I'd bet if it's the cresent its a copy of the northwest signal coaches poll should already been out weeks before. I just think Evergreen could be a great team I would bet they should finish 3rd if I don't write my opinion on here then I'll right BS the rest of the time. Obee why you always gotta pick on me I think you need a time out.

Kind of an ugly start for the League. 3-4 with Archbold and Wauseon facing off in a NON league matchup.
Archbold 53 Wauseon 49
Delta 51 Pettisville 37
Evergreen 76 North Central 62
Hicksville 51 Montpelier 50
Miller City 79 Liberty Center 38
Otsego 78 Swanton 57
PH and Bryan didn't play.

I think that's pretty much what people expected. I don't think anybody expected LC or Montpelier to win. The Swanton score did surprise me. Otsego hasn't been strong lately. So, is Otsego better or is Swanton really that bad?

It looks like Swanton is back to being Swanton. Archbold is back to being Archbold so the league is back to normal again. Big win for Archbold last night vs. Kalida. Looking forward to watching them improve all year and see what kind of run they can make in March. I think Delta, Archbold and possibly Evergreen could win a couple of games in the tournament. How cool would it be if all 3 of them made it to Napoleon. I think it could happen. With Evergreen and Delta being in the same sectional, they both could be seeded but that will be a good sectional with Genoa and Ottawa Hills also in there.

PH starts play this Thursday with Swanton. I'm interested to see how they do this year. Seeman played a lot of the young kids last year so hopefully that experience will help. Strange seeing PH go from a basketball school to a football school so quickly. But success will do that. I'm not complaining. Also wrestling is getting better and better at PH. Dye is a beast.

What weight group is Dye? 189? sorry its off subject... . I doubt LC goes win less MC is a basketball power house usually contends for the PCL title year in and year out with no football the kids really get after it when school starts. Montpeiler and LC are in down ward spiral. I doubt LC and Montpeiler win 5-6 games total and one has to beat the other.

I'd bet my best horse that evergreen finishes 3rd but no worse this year. I could be totally wrong but from what they have and what others have the league is on a down year. Then it's settled. Evergreen will finish 3rd. Now if we can just figure out the rest of the league. The Crescent had Bryan finishing 5th or 6th. I wonder if that is the newspaper's prediction or a coaches poll. Whoa! Was I wrong about Evergreen. Huge win over Archbold tonight!!! They shot lights out in the 1st half and Archbold was stone cold, but if Mossing can carry them every night like he did tonight, they might not lose. But I also think if you ever want to play Archbold, it's early on.

After the big early season showdown with Archbold, Evergreen is firmly installed in my mind as the "team to beat" in the 2009-2010 NWOAL Championship Race.
