What crazy horse poop! Defiance? Can't they move the game to Saturday afternoon and play at BGSU or something?
I mean if they can move St. Paul's game to Friday to make them happy, why not move this game to another day/night?

No need to move it to Saturday. Findlay isn't even being used Friday night. That's what is crazy about the whole thing. This game would be the only one in the state not on Turf.

Any word yet on whether the state changed this game to artificial turf?

No matter the site, this should be a good one. Best two teams in the region, but I got to go with PH in this one. Hopefully the weather holds out and the game is injury free.

What's really sad is that Findlay wants to host this game. IMO turf should always be used when available. A school that invests that kind of money should have the opportunity to get it back before a school that has no investment.
Besides that, isn't that a big reason the state originally decided they could have an 8 team per region playoff? Because turf fields were more available and the weather wouldn't come into play as much.
Seems odd that they chose Defiance anyways. Isn't Napoleon a more neutral location then Defiance? The whole deal seems really wierd.

I don't think it's going to get moved. CRAP!!!! For some god awful reason, they want this game played in Defiance. Sounds like someone, somewhere, just wants to throw their weight around.

I guess Napoleon would have possibly been selected but they didn't apply for any playoff games after round 2 since the state said they have to be played on turf. Not that I would feel any better about playing in Napoleon because it's still grass. I just found that interesting. I also noticed that they still didn't release any ticket sale information. That's usually done by now.

Several told me that the lack of confirmation might be that they are gettng it moved. I'm not so optomistic...but the fact that Mr Heiber hasnt heard an official yes or no, it may be that they are getting everything in order.
I'm excited for a good game either way.

Patrick Henry ignores the venue location and rolls to a 35-14 win.

I'm so hoping to lay a good old fashioned butt whopping on those Rams just to prove a point. GO BIG RED.

Me too. But I been saying all year, Tinora is the scary team in this Region.

Hate to disagree with my fellow PH allums, but having watched Tinora play all year, they are the real deal. Their d-line is one of, if not the, hardest hitting in the area, and the linebackers flow nicely. The offensive line is quick, and the backs hit the hole now. Great mixture in the backfield of power and speed. When needed Landon can chuck it with the best of them. I could see 500+ yards of rushing in this one. I can also see less than 3 yards a carry. This should be the best high school football game on Friday night. Question is who makes the adjustments first. See you all tonight, and please, stop with the traitor comments already.
