Without going to the link and checking their schedules, I'm not sure. I believe they are scattered and occasionally play Tuesdays as well.

the MAL plays on Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday. I know Calvert will play Liberty Benton again this year.
I will take New Riegel this season, as I played on an AAU team with both Joey Dillon, and Dustin Kinn before. Kinn can single handedly take over a game with his size, and strength. Tiffin Calvert returns 8 guys who played on varsity last year, but I will look into this conference and many more here very soon

call me crazy, but I think Bettsville can contend this year. They have 3, or 4 very good seniors in Hartsel, Sumi, Harrison to name a few. Hartsel was avg. 28 ppg at the mid-way point a couple years back, but his problem is staying out of foul trouble.

Is it odd that I have never been to a MAL game before? Been to a couple girls games but never seen a MAL team play ball.

Kyle, Kevin ..I think we should do a section on the website this year called 'Student Crazies' or something along the lines. We should get pictures of the best student sections in northwest, ohio. I know when I was at Tiffin Calvert we were voted like 5th in northwest, ohio and Liberty Benton was right up there with us.

So what are some of the teams to watch? Is Bettsville worth watching when they play an SLL school?

Elmwood scrimmaged Bettsville and handled them rather easily. I don't know their team that well. They may have been missing someone. They had a pretty good big kid and a couple nice guards that could shoot, but the Royals fast breaked them to death.
