Perkins scrimmage against Findlay sounded pretty promising with the new group of youngsters over there L2L reporting on that one.

Perkins played Findlay to a virtual tie score-wise over six quarters or so. They have some seniors for leadership, but they also have five freshmen who will see the floor...four who will be on the varsity exclusively and another who will play JV/Varsity. That's quite a lot and they will take some lumps for their youth regardless of how good they are. Time will tell.

Columbian @ Clyde opening night? That's right. It's been a real good game the last couple of years. I've got to get over my turkey hangover to get out and see this one.

Perkins played their preview tonight against Bellevue and Vermilion. They won both of the quarters they played...beating Bellevue 8-5 and Vermilion 19-10. Perkins plays a lot of young girls...five freshmen and a sophomore on their roster and they all saw significant time tonight.
They make their share of mistakes right now, but they play very hard and get after it defensively. They could develop into a pretty good team over the next few years.

Yeah, Little Mullins got some minutes last night. Bellevue looked OK. It's hard to tell from these types of games...everyone has a lot of work to do at this point.

lot2learn,
If you are going to Friday's game, would you mind sending me 1 or 2 good pics (or more if you want) of the game Friday night? I'll do a write-up and that Friday night or Saturday. That will free me to go to another girl's game so we can get more coverage since I have someone at the football game in NW Ohio Friday.
Thanks,
kyle

If you send me pics in jpg I can work with the size with my editing software.
Try a few different kinds and I'll let you know what works best.
Thanks
