I agree that it gives our jv some quality playing time, but it also shows very little class from the Hillsdale coaching staff.

Agreed. It is their first playoff experience so maybe their coach will have a "live and learn" moment.
But I am sure people thought that about PH in the first half calling timeouts in the last drive before half already up 35-0. They don't realize how PH was just trying to work the 2 minute offense. I am sure the coaching staff will go over items that they saw that will help them get into FG range instead next time.

How is that even an issue? Was that against their jv? Maybe the next time PH is up by 35, they should just hand possision over untill the opposing team scores. The point is, they knew they could not win the game and yet they felt the need to beat up PH's jv.

I was pretty disgusted by the whole deal myself too. That officially ranks in my top three for most classless opponents. Others being Archbold a couple years ago with the coaching call to leave Goering in the whole game, and the Wayne Trace playoff fiasco in Defiance. Rex I just expect that out of anymore.
What really shocked me was the huge crowd reactions when they scored or had a big play. Seriously, I would be thinking "It's pretty obvious this is our last game, lets get the younger ones in for the experience to build on next year." Instead of "Let's see if they will allow us to score 6 td's on them in the fourth quarter to take this to overtime." Pretty sickening.
Another thing that bothered me was the late hitting they were laying on L George. I'm not complaining about the refs at all, but it was pretty obvious some of the Hillsdale players were trying to take him out of the game. The one that was called was pretty bad. George was down for a good second and then the head to head came in.

First half is FAIR GAME....You score as many as you can no matter what. I dont care what the score is. And it was obvious that we were working on our 2 minute offense which we might need down the road.
I feel bad for their young players who work just as hard as the starters and didnt get to taste the playoffs. It benefits our young ones but hurts their team.

"I think PH relishes taking on "bigger" teams. It really pumps the boys up." what big teams have they played? Besides Bryan and Tinora PH Hasn't played to many quality teams obee. DSJ Smacked Tinora around week 2 and Coldwater lost to DSJ by 7 I hope PH comes to play this friday or the boys will be trading cleats for basketballs or singlets. COLDWATER is probably the best team in the MAC and DSJ caught them on a off night. PH can win this game with no turnovers and defensive pressure. If Coldwater gets the passing game going it could be over before halftime. YES Coldwater jumps out early on 8-12 games they have played. I HOPE PH the best and good luck represent the N.W.O.A.L and bring down the M.A.C.
