What type of workouts are your school's kids doing?

Chin-ups.
I don't know, just thought it would be funny.
If I coached baseball, I'd really have my kids strengthening their shoulders and backs. I can't imagine the stress that those areas get from swinging, throwing, etc.

Well at Tiffin Calvert we went thru 3 different coaches in my four years, and with one coming from the army ): haha. We had an assistant soccer coach from Liberty Benton who happened to win a state title lol big whoop. The head coach we have now Mr. Jim Feasel was recruited by me senior year, I told veteran Mike Hart who has been with the baseball program for 20 + years, and two weeks later was the JV assistant. The reason why I knew he was the man for the job, was his ability to bond well with players, and everyone loved the guy when I played for his traveling team. Unfortunately, Feasel was a Hopewell guy haha and happened to hold the All-Time Steals record until Brickner broke it a few years back.
Feasel's first year as head coach was the year after I graduated ..unfortunately, and the team managed a 15-8 record. Coach Feasel will be getting many of his players back for this season, and I look for the Senecas to contend for the MAL title

The boys at PH throw year round. Lifting to but also cardio to stay limber/flexible. Coach I did a whale of a job taking a program in turmoil to a State Title and then a second straight under new head coach Sunderman. PH also has batting cages out by the Athletic Building.

Our season started in the gym last February, the regular HS season extended into the tourney, then ACME, then Fall Ball. From now until early February I am having my boy lift, hit off a tee, and work out with the bands (rubber) for flexibility. at 125#, he needs al the help he can get. LOL!

LC is finally doing about the same as PH but alot of kids are going out the the sports complex and hitting inside the heated building and throwing the ball around. I would say ryan miller is taking the same aproach as PH's Insuelman has. LC has a ways to go since they haven't ever won the league out right but they are taking the steps they need to succeed.

Inselmann isn't at PH anymore. Sunderman took over last year to lead the team to its second straight State Title. But he was an assistant under Inselmann and is doing things much the same way.
