OK I figured I would try to get a thread started for discussions on the Iowa OSU matchup. Clearly most people believe that this should be an easy win for the Bucks (kind of like the Purdue game...). My feeling is that Iowa without thier starting qb is still a very dangerous team that has surprised teams all year, especially with so many Ohio people already smelling roses.
What does everyone else think.

I don't think so. I think the "real" Iowa team without their QB was evident the other day. You can't take the leader off a team and expect something good right away. My guess is Ohio State 31-14.

This matchup lost all its luster last week. OSU wins handily.

I'm still trying to figure out how good Ohio State is.

I'm a Michigan fan but Ohio State's problem (my opinion) isn't that they aren't capable of winning the big games this year, it is that they go as "Pryor" goes. Let Pryor run around more and I think they are a top 10 team. Make him pass all the time and they are about a #15-#20 team.

I agree about Iowa and how they looked without the qb. But I also agree with hamler80. I just really can't tell how good OSU is this year. Or really, which team will show up and play. Last weekend they looked great. Play like that the rest of the season and I'll be very happy. Play like some of the other games, not so happy.

TP needs to stop thinking and start reacting...plus Tressell needs to take the conservative gloves off and open things up. Let TPrun more. The outcome of this game will be along the lines of the Minnesota/Illinois/Wisky games....not very close.

The conservative play calling has bit OSU too many times (USC?). I don't necessarily think the play calling is wrong, it's just outdated. That is my opinion of why the Big 10 struggles so much with other conferences. That's what worries me so much about Michigan in the upcoming years with RR. Assuming they can still get the recruits he wants.

Assuming that Carr doesnt become the AD and fire him.

Very true about Carr.
Conservative play calling almost got us again. And why on Earth didn't Iowa at least try something with just under a minute left instead of letting the clock run out? (Thankfully they didn't)
I would say their backup qb looked prettý sharp the whole game.
