Ok. I am an out in the open Notre Dame fan...although it pains most of my family. With that being said I would love to see the Irish get back on track and take out the Panthers.
I don't see that happening but stranger things have occured.
On a side note...I dont think Fat Chuck should be fired. No other coach will be able to Bring ND back to the glory days until the addmittance standards are relaxed once again. Thats why Lou Holtz left. He saw the writing on the wall.

I see one thing that has happened that may influence the near future of Charlie. A certain coach openly admitting that he would love to coach the Irish. And I think any college would think hard about replacing their coach if Urban Meyer made that statement about them...

Well yeah...If Urban does that. But I believe Colin Cowherd is correct on why these Mid West schools are getting weaker. WEATHER and GIRLS. They can go to a warm climate school and see beautiful women. What Florida/Texas/or Cali kid in their right mind wants to leave the wonderful weather to play in the snow/cold?

Cowherd is definitely right about that.
And Meyer did state that. There was a video of an interview I watched last week or so. He didn't come right out and say he would go there immediately, but his interests definitely are with Notre Dame or OSU. It was a pretty good interview.
