I pick the top 10 , just my opinion without any games played .
1.SV
2.Whitmer
3.Toledo CC
4.Coldwater
5.St.Johns
6.Lexington
7.Clyde (Have the horses to get it done ,but Eastwood game will tell were they stand)
8.Fremont (I want to put them higher but the Whitmer game will say if they are for real)
9.Tiffin Col.
10.Bellevue (one of the best QB'S in Watson , lost there whole line and T.Smith to big of losses to replace.
Commented on the ones that people for sure will say "WHAT IS HE THINKING"

1. I agree about Clyde and Fremont. A lot will be learned in the first two weeks.
2. Bellevue may actually move up a few spots this year as well.
I also believe that if St. John's (Toledo) can gain a little more confidence that they'll beat Central Catholic this year. Just a hunch.

St.Johns sounded pretty impressive against Findlay in there first game. Your hunch has
started of good.
Iam also think you will find out alot about Bellevue against Perkins tonight . I almost split
on this game . But i took Bellevue in the picks

St. John's showed nerves early on and honestly, Findlay gave that game away.
The Trojans were up 9-0 with the ball and running the ball fairly easily on St. John's defense.
Instead of running out the 1st half clock, they go to the air and get picked for six.

Commented on the ones that people for sure will say "WHAT IS HE THINKING" Clyde lost Gilbert at the end of the 3rd Q up 14-7 ,went down with a seperated shoulder out 4 to 6 weeks (HUGE LOSS) he had over 100 some yds passing and around if not over 100 yds rushing . You could sense the change in the game after that moment . Eastwood being a very good team just took over the 4th outscoring Clyde 25-7 . |

That's a big loss. I really think Clyde would have won that if he didn't get the injury.
Looking back at my original top 15:
1. Toledo Whitmer - Again, week 2 will show if they deserve the top spot but they played great in week 1.
2. Sylvania Southview - Who'da thunk it? Southview will definitely drop a few spots or more after this week.
3. Fremont Ross - I'll probably keep them at #3 due to a slow offensive start.
4. Toledo Central Catholic - leap Fremont, but the Fremont could re-gain that spot by beating Whitmer.
5. Toledo SJ - They may have a ways to go to stay here, but maybe they'll fall to #6 or #7 just because they have a lot of room to grow.
6. Coldwater will move up.
7. Kenton will probably stay - they lost to #6.
8. Lexington did not play.
9. Bellevue - not a great showing, perhaps into the 12/13 range?
10. Clyde - With the injury to Gilbert, I think they will have a few more bruises on their loss record.
11. Findlay most likely will drop to #15 or lower.
12. Maumee - Easily into the top 10 next week.
13. Clay - up a spot or two.
14. Start - maybe down and out of the top 15.
15. St. Francis will definitely climb the ladder after the big win!!!
The others:
Perkins is deserving of a much higher spot and so is Toledo Rogers.

I think Perkins will pop in .Clyde if they can get past OF tonight they are expecting Gilbert,
Smetz ,JB and Ortaloni back by the Bellevue game i think you will see them get back in the
top ten and finish 9-1 .

Kyle , no love for the Fliers in your poll . St.Marys(5-3) got crushed by Van Wert 43-7 and the
Fliers(5-3) take down the #5 Perkins 27-13 . You have St.Marys #4 and Clyde #5 . Just
giving you a hard time LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
